Our furthest trip was to Orkney, where we met with organisations such as the Orkney Museum and visited sites such as the sunny excavation at the Ness of Brodgar.

One of the most important messages of Dig It! 2015 is that archaeology really is for everyone! This means that we will be getting involved in a few unexpected projects in order to reach new audiences. This is where Minecraft comes in. For those of you who don’t know, Minecraft is a pixel-style game about breaking and placing blocks, which allows players to create wonderful and imaginative things. Sounds like fun!
