Discovery and Excavation in Scotland

Are you interested in sites and monuments in your area? ‘From the Ground Up’ will be holding workshops in mid-January and most of February for community groups interested in recording activities through the new online reporting form for Discovery and Excavation in Scotland (DES).

This online form is designed to increase the amount of information acquired, especially from community projects and archaeology groups, and produce a searchable online database of archaeological activities that have taken place in Scotland. It can be contributed to by individuals; community groups and heritage societies as well as commercial archaeologists and academics. Great news!

If you want to learn more or sign up, contact Fiona Isobel Watson or click here to visit the DES webpage.
