Picts in the Park: Living History Fair
9 September – Perth and Kinross
Travel back to the 1st Century AD and join the Picts of Regia Anglorum with demonstrations inspired by the archaeological discoveries from King’s Seat Hillfort. Witness Pictish combat, experience storytelling, hear expert talks, join tours and lots more!

Big Roman Week
15 to 23 September – Falkirk
Delivering heritage events across the Falkirk Council area and beyond, Big Roman Week encourages visitors to find out more about their Roman roots. Get involved in walks, talks, activities and displays; many events are free of charge.

Archaeology Day
15 September – Edinburgh
Discover Iron Age life through historical characters and trying your hand at skills from the period. Join a druid for walks into the past where you’ll meet many colourful characters and discover artefacts uncovered from Holyrood Park.
