As part of Doors Open Days 2026, the Pictish Room will be open 12noon to 3pm each day and two guided walks have been arranged over the weekend:
At 12noon on Saturday 12 September with Norman Atkinson OBE, Former Head of Museum Services in Angus.
At 1pm on Sunday 13 September with John Borland from the Pictish Arts Society.
Walks last about an hour. Refreshments available.
The walks are free but booking is required.
Please note that this event is not being coordinated by Dig It!. Please wear sensible footwear and be aware the walk involved the sometimes busy B9134 road. You can join the walk at your own risk but volunteers in high vis vests will accompany the groups.
