Meet the Makers: Prehistoric and Roman Scotland

Join National Museums Scotland for free, drop-in demonstrations and displays showcasing craftsmanship of the past.

Contemporary makers will represent craft skills from Bronze Age Scotland to the Roman military occupation. Their work celebrates our exhibitions, ‘Roman Scotland‘ and ‘Scotland’s First Warriors‘.

Discover how pottery, jewellery, textiles, leather, tools, and wooden objects were made in the past.
