Cammo Estate Dig 2026

Come and join the Edinburgh Archaeological Field Society (EAFS) team on a dig at Cammo Estate, an area packed full of archaeology and hidden stories just waiting to be uncovered – by you!

This year, the team are busy planning and recording the conservatory site and using this opportunity to train up volunteers.

Anyone, with or without previous experience, is welcome to join the fieldwork every Monday, weather permitting.

Please bring sturdy shoes, sun protection, water, and a packed lunch.

While Dig It! takes every opportunity to ensure that this information is accurate, we advise that you contact the event organiser before attending the event to avoid disappointment.
