History In Our Bones: Uncovering Stories of Disability Through Time

This display explores disability in the medieval past through history, archaeology and science.

Discover the stories of four people who lived with disabilities in Scotland and England between 500 and 1600 years ago, presented through immersive display stations.

Created in collaboration with University of St Andrews researchers, History in Our Bones invites visitors to rethink how disability, community and contribution have always gone hand in hand.
