Marion Campbell Library Tours at Kilmartin Museum

Discover the magic of the Marion Campbell Library, where every corner whispers history.

Kilmartin Museum is very proud to house the Marion Campbell Library. This valuable resource contains a wealth of books and journals about local archaeology, history and natural history. The Library is dedicated to Marion Campbell in honour of her founding book bequest.

The Marion Campbell Library Tours are FREE and are held:-

Tuesday 11:00am – 11:30am and 11:45am – 12:15pm

Thursday 1:30pm – 2:00pm and 2:15pm – 2:45pm

Sunday 11:00am – 11:30am and 11:45pm – 12:15pm

Numbers are limited to six people, so booking is essential! To book visit the link below.

The tour itself takes approximately 30mins and is led by one of the museum’s knowledgeable Visitor Experience Assistants.

This event is part of Scottish Archaeology Month 2026 coordinated by Archaeology Scotland.
