Summer Museum 2026

Every summer, the village museum opens its doors to visitors from near and far. Hosted within the Session House alongside Saline Parish Church, it enjoys a central location with nearby car park and public bus link.

A new exhibition is chosen by the Saline & District Heritage Society curator each year and volunteers are on hand to welcome and provide information. This year’s exhibition will include their previous local archaeology projects, the most recent of which occurred last November. These have centred around Saline’s Old Kirkyard and are ongoing.

The museum is open from 7 June to 20 September on Sundays (10:30am — noon) and Tuesdays (6pm — 8pm).

While Dig It! takes every opportunity to ensure that this information is accurate, we advise that you contact the event organiser before attending the event to avoid disappointment. As “39% of transport emissions come from cars” according to Net Zero Nation, Dig It! also encourages you to walk, wheel, cycle or use public transport to arrive at this event if possible.
