The results of an OAS-funded radiocarbon dating and isotope analysis pilot project.
A talk by Kath Page (4th Year PhD Student UHI Archaeology Institute). This talk will deliver the results of an OAS-funded pilot project that analysed radiocarbon dates from the Ness of Brodgar and the chamber cairns of Blackhammer and Yarso to explore changes in depositional practices during the Neolithic/Bronze Age transition and the movement of red deer in the landscape.
There will be a raffle to raise funds towards the festival costs and to support Orkney Archaeology Society (OAS).
