Walk and Talk at the Tomb of the Eagles with Professor Colin Richards

The re-opening of the Tomb of the Eagles as a community-based charity, managed by the South Ronaldsay & Burray Development Trust in 2025 was a marvellous achievement by a small group of dedicated volunteers, and with the full support of the Simison family.

Professor Colin Richards has been involved in this from the beginning and will be hosting a walk across the site.

Join Colin to learn more about the site, the history and previous discoveries, and what exciting plans are ahead.

Meet just before 11.00am at the Tomb of the Eagles. The aim is to walk across the site so come prepared for the weather. For more information on the site check their website.
