The University of Glasgow Archaeology team and National Trust for Scotland, with the help of local volunteers, are returning this summer to investigate the archaeology of Glencoe.
Visit the settlement of Achnacon to observe the team at work excavating houses and fields from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Volunteer spaces are now full but visitors are still welcome to drop by the site from 5 to 7 July to talk to the experts and observe the fieldwork (no excavation will take place on 8 and 9 July).
On 10 July join the team for an archaeology open day at the National Trust for Scotland Visitor centre in Glencoe. Enjoy storytelling, artefact handling, creative exhibitions and landscape tours.
