Archaeology Week in Burdiehouse Burn Valley Park

Come and help excavate and unearth a historic 19th Century hamlet, the “Broken Bridge Settlement” off Lasswade Road in Edinburgh as part of the Restore the Burn Project.

Organised by the Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust in partnership with The Edinburgh Archaeological Field Society and The City of Edinburgh Council this is a free event and a chance to get involved and find out about the fascinating lost history of this part of Edinburgh.

Stop by, ask questions, and even join the dig. No experience required.
