The Cairns has been a 20 year excavation of an Iron Age site in South Ronaldsay. This year is the last year of excavation, with post excavation work now ongoing. Join Martin at this Orkney Archaeological Society (OAS) event as he reflects on the early findings from 2026, and outlines what happens next.
This talk takes place in St Magnus Centre, Kirkwall and is free to attend. There will be a raffle to raise funds towards the festival costs and to support Orkney Archaeology Society.
