Lismore Archaeology Day

Don’t miss this free day to celebrate the many finds from the monastic site at Clachan.

The day will include an informal visit to the church and archaeological site in the Glebe, an introductory talk by Clare Ellis in the church, followed by lunch and an opportunity to see Glebe finds in the Museum Room. The day will end with talks by the experts on the finds: Angela Boyle (osteology); Gemma Cruickshanks (metallurgy, carved wood); Carly McNamara (carved stone); Gordon Noble (dating and Antiquities paper).

The conference is FREE (funded by the Argyll & Bute Sustaining Communities Fund), but please email lahsoc@gmail.com to register your attendance and receive more details on the meeting point.
