Join the University of the Highlands & Islands for a fascinating day exploring how Roman society may have influenced Iron Age communities in the North of Scotland.
Organised by UHI Archaeology Institute, National Museums Scotland, and The University of Edinburgh, this free conference brings together new research, including recent discoveries from UHI excavations, to re-examine the connections between Roman and Iron Age worlds.
The morning session will consist of expert talks and the afternoon will feature hands-on show & tell + roundtable discussion led by ScARF.
Tea, coffee, and biscuits provided.
A great opportunity to engage with emerging research and help shape future priorities in Scottish archaeology.
