Shaping Scotland’s Past: Research, Collaboration and the Scottish Archaeological Research Framework

A talk by Dr Helen Spencer FSAScot, Head of Research, Society of Antiquaries of Scotland

Helen will talk about some recent work at the Society to promote and support archaeological research across Scotland – focussing on projects in the islands. She will also have an update on the Society’s Scotland’s Islands Research Framework for Archaeology (SIRFA) project which covers the Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland.

There will be a raffle to raise funds towards the festival costs and to support Orkney Archaeology Society (OAS).
